Rice flour is a form of flour made from finely milled organically grown rice. It is distinct from rice starch, which is usually produced by steeping rice in lye. Organic Rice flour is a common substitute for wheat flour.
It is ground to a finer grade than brown rice flour, and mixes well with other gluten-free flours such as millet flour and tapioca starch for use in a wide range of gluten-free baking recipes.
